An asbestos survey is a comprehensive inspection of a property to identify the presence and extent of asbestos-containing materials. We offer two types of asbestos surveys:

• Management survey: This survey is conducted to locate, assess, and manage asbestos-containing materials that may be disturbed during normal occupancy and maintenance of a building.

• Refurbishment and demolition survey: This survey is conducted prior to any refurbishment or demolition work, to locate, assess, and manage asbestos-containing materials that may be disturbed during the work.

Asbestos Sample Collection and Analysis

When to Test for Asbestos

It is recommended to test for asbestos if you are planning any renovation or demolition work on a property built before the 1990s. Asbestos-containing materials can release fibers into the air when they are disturbed, posing a health risk to anyone in the vicinity. Even if you are not planning any work, it is a good idea to have your property surveyed for asbestos-containing materials, as many materials can degrade over time and release fibers into the air.
