What is Asbestos Testing?

Asbestos testing is the process of analyzing samples of building materials for the presence of asbestos fibers. The testing process involves collecting samples of the suspected materials and analyzing them using specialized equipment and techniques.

Management Survey

A management survey is a non-intrusive inspection of a building that is intended to locate, as far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any ACMs within the building that could be disturbed during normal occupancy, maintenance, or installation of equipment. The survey involves sampling various materials, such as ceiling tiles, floor tiles, insulating boards, and pipe lagging, and analyzing them for asbestos fibers.

Refurbishment Demolition Survey

A refurbishment demolition survey is a much more intrusive inspection of a building that is intended to locate all ACMs within the building that could be disturbed during major refurbishment or demolition. The survey involves sampling all the materials that are going to be disturbed during the refurbishment or demolition works, and analyzing them for asbestos fibers.
