Asbestos Survey

Before carrying out any demolition, renovation or maintenance works, an asbestos survey must be performed to determine the presence of asbestos in a building or property. The survey classifies asbestos-containing materials into categories, and the information obtained is used to develop an asbestos management plan.

The two types of surveys carried out are Management Survey and Refurbishment/Demolition Survey. Our surveyors can guide you on the appropriate survey required for your property.

Asbestos Sampling

Our experts will take samples of suspected asbestos-containing materials on-site, record their location, and safely transport them to our UKAS-accredited laboratory for testing. We also provide results of the test within 24-48 hours, depending on the urgency of the matter.

Asbestos Testing

At our UKAS-accredited Laboratory, the samples are analyzed for the presence of asbestos fibres under a polarized light microscope (PLM). Our sample analysis is performed in accordance with HSE guidance, and results are provided via a comprehensive report.
