How Asbestos Testing Works

The first step in asbestos testing is a visual inspection of your property by one of our licensed professionals. During the inspection, we will look for any ACMs that may be present in your property, such as insulation, pipes, ceiling tiles, or textured coatings.

If we suspect that an ACM is present, we will take a small sample of the material and send it to a UKAS-accredited laboratory for testing. The laboratory will then analyse the sample to determine whether it contains asbestos, and if so, what type and how much.

Once we have received the laboratory results, we will prepare a detailed survey report that identifies any ACMs in your property, their locations, and their condition. Based on this report, we will recommend any necessary actions, such as removal or encapsulation, to ensure the safety of your property and its occupants.
