Management Surveys

A management survey is the standard survey used to identify the existence and condition of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in a building. The aim of a management survey is to establish whether asbestos-containing materials are present, where they are located, what condition they are in, and whether they are likely to be disturbed.

The survey report produced will identify any ACMs present, their condition, and the likelihood of fibre release. We will also recommend a management plan that includes safe maintenance, periodic inspections, and any necessary remedial work.

Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys

Refurbishment and demolition surveys are required prior to any structural alterations or demolition works. The survey aims to identify and locate all asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) that could be disturbed by the proposed work.

The survey report produced will detail the location and condition of ACMs, along with any remedial work that may be required before the work can proceed. We will also help you to develop a management plan to ensure the safe removal of ACMs.

Re-inspection Surveys

A re-inspection survey is conducted to ensure that the management plan implemented following a previous asbestos survey in Poynings is effective and remains valid. The survey will identify any changes in ACM condition and recommend any necessary remedial work.

Risk Assessments

A risk assessment is a process that identifies the risks associated with asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in a building. The aim of a risk assessment is to assess the level of risk posed by different types of ACMs, and to recommend appropriate risk management measures.
