There are two main types of asbestos surveys:

1. Management Survey: This type of survey is the least intrusive and is suitable for buildings that are currently in use. The survey aims to identify any ACMs that may present a risk to occupants and visitors, providing a detailed report with a management plan to ensure the ACMs are managed safely.

2. Refurbishment/Demolition Survey: This type of survey is more intrusive and is conducted before any refurbishment or demolition work takes place. The survey aims to identify all ACMs in the building, including those that may be hidden or hard to reach. The report provides a detailed plan for the safe removal of all ACMs before any refurbishment or demolition work begins.
