• Management Surveys

Management surveys are required for all non-domestic buildings and communal areas of residential buildings built before 2000.

• Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys

Refurbishment and demolition surveys are used to locate and identify all ACMs present in a building. This type of survey also involves destructive inspection and asbestos testing, making it more thorough than a management survey. Refurbishment and demolition surveys are carried out in areas where major refurbishments, demolition, or other more industrial works are planned.

• Asbestos Re-inspections

Asbestos re-inspections are a follow-up to management and refurbishment and demolition surveys. They are designed to ensure that any previously identified ACMs are still in good condition and to identify any new ACMs that may have been introduced since the previous survey.
